ABOUT DR. JOHANNA
Welcome! I am a Clinical Psychologist passionate about helping children, adults, and families. I use evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Therapy is available both in my New York City office and online.
I specialize in treating attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), executive functioning weaknesses, and anxiety disorders. Additionally, I specialize in treating elimination disorders, including encopresis and enuresis. Please click here to read more about what I treat.
My approach is compassionate, strength-based, and solution-focused. Therapy is a collaborative process. We will examine the relationship between your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. You will actively participate in learning new skills and learning to change unhelpful thinking and behavioral patterns.
Often in life, taking the first step on a new path brings feelings of uncertainty. That’s understandable.
I offer a free phone consultation and will gladly do my best to answer any questions. If I believe another
psychologist can better assist you, I will give you a referral. I’m here to help.
I offer online therapy
for children,
adolescents, & adults.
I am skilled in providing therapy online using a secure platform. I want to help you reach your goals and believe that regular attendance is key to your success. Therefore, I offer online therapy to help ensure regular attendance and reach individuals who are unable to attend sessions in my New York City (NYC) office. Online therapy is available to address numerous challenges,
including ADHD, anxiety disorders, executive functioning weaknesses, enuresis, encopresis, bedwetting, OCD, sleep issues, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, and trichotillomania.
